Andru

I can't believe Andru is almost 5. She is growing up so fast. Last week she was the V.I.P. at preschool. She is so sweet. She is also such a girl. For Christmas she got some makeup. Well a few weeks later we had some things we needed to go do so I told her to go get her socks and shoes on. She ran off and I finished getting Lexi ready. She was taking forever so I went looking for her I found her in the bathroom doing her makeup. I told her to stop we needed to go she freaked out "but I need to get ready to go" she didn't want to leave the house without her makeup done. The funny thing is I don't really wear makeup all the time and I don't wear a lot when I do. So I never thought she would be so worried about it. She has also started to get all mad if she thinks something is ugly and I want her to wear it. She needs new shoes so the other day I took her to find some well every pair we found she didn't like so she didn't get new shoes. She is just all girl I love it. She is also the best big sister Lexi just loves her to death.

She is so tall. She is 43" and 43lbs.

Sniff

I have been wanting a dog for such a long time so last week we got one. He is a Puggle, a pug and beagle. He is super cute. Andru named him Sniff.

Lexi

I know my last post was short so I figured I would catch you up a little with Lexi today.

She is growing up so fast it makes me sad. At her 1 year check up she was 19lbs and 29" she is so tiny at least to me she seems so tiny Andru was 22lbs 5oz and 30.5".
She started walking about 3 weeks ago. She is so feisty I love it. She loves to sass Ian, poor kid I think he thinks shes nuts. She got a piggy bank for her birthday, we give Andru money for her to put in hers all the time so we let Lexi try to put some money in hers and she loves it. So I put a pile of change next to her and let her have fun. (don't worry I was watching her the whole time so she wouldn't eat any)

Lexi can now say, Da da, Ma ma, Kitty, and Z that is what she says for fuzzy which is what we call her blanket.


This is her on New Years eve. We went to our friends house I was really worried about her, I didn't think she would make it but she was so good.
She is such a good baby. I love how much she loves Andru. I am so glad that I had 2 girls .
There is nothing like having a sister.

Christmas, New Years and Jazz

Man it has been a while ..... again.
We had a awesome Christmas our kids were spoiled like crazy. Then we spent new years eve with some of our good friends it was really fun. Then Dave had to go to Oklahoma for work. He got spoiled they went to the Thunder game and they were playing the Jazz. The Owner of the company has a box and awesome seats. They were on the 3rd row. Dave was so excited he had a blast. And I was mean and didn't think he would need the camera (I didn't know he was going to be so close) so he didn't have it. Now I feel really bad, but at the time I was just thinking about how Dave tends to loose stuff. So sorry no fun pictures, I was also bad and forgot to take pictures on Christmas.

Lexi is 1

Lexi's first birthday was this week. I can't believe she is one. We had family come over and have cake and ice cream. Lexi was not all that into the whole thing.

She hadn't really napped good all day so she was in a bit of a bad mood.
We opened presents, she just kinda watched me she didn't want to have anything to do with it.
She got a bunch of really cute things.


After presents she got to eat her very own cake.......

and again she didn't really care. I thought for sure that she would dig into it.

Nope, at first she wouldn't even touch it with her hands. She would just bend over and stick her tongue on it. She finally got her hands in it a little. Then I decided to give her a cupcake with messy green icing so she would at least get a little bit messy.

We still had a blast. She loves all her toys. And thank you to all of you who came. I know this is a busy time of year. Love you guys.

Man its been a while, sorry

Sorry its been a while. We had a really good thanksgiving. Greg and Janice came out. It was so nice to see them. They stayed at our house while they were here Andru loved it she was really sad when they had to go home. While they were out we all went to dinner.

I looked at Andru and this is what I saw.
Yep that is butter. Yum huh. She just decided that she wanted to eat some butter and of course I had to let her so I could get a picture.
Lexi is such a dork she is so flipping cute. I hate when babies get teeth it is just sad it just reminds me that they are not babies anymore. So I was sad when Lexi started to get her teeth, then they came in like this and I love it she look so stinking cute.

She is my little Vampire. She has her two bottom middle teeth too so she looks so cute.

And Lexi finally started to stand up on her own. She isn't walking yet but I think she will be really soon.
(I know my floor is a mess)

So that is all we have been up to. Lexi will be 1 in a week and a half. Sad, I can't believe it has been a year.
